BIOGRAPHY

Jeffrey Smallwood

Jeffrey grew up in Philadelphia playing at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education Center now called Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center. This is where his passion for teaching tennis began as he worked for the NJTL program to help inter-city kids learn the game. Growing up as an underprivileged youth; Jeffrey understood the importance of hard work, perseverance, dedication and the determination to never give up no matter what cards you have been dealt in life. Tennis changed and continues to change his life everyday.

Jeffrey played college tennis at Bethune-Cookman University and worked at some of the best Tennis camps in the country including Nike Tennis, Dartmouth College and UCLA. He is a worked alongside some of the best tennis coaches in the world and Universities.

Jeffrey is certified by the USTA as a professional coach and holds a ATP certificate of coaching as well. He is extremely passionate about growing and developing youth tennis in Arizona.

BIOGRAPHY

Cheryl Kindred

Cheryl is an Arizonian local who was Top 10 in the southwest before leaving for college. Cheryl Played collage tennis at Long Beach State University where she earned Big West Player of the year to help her team to the Big West Championship. After college she began working in Orange County as a teaching professional as well as UCLA and Riveria County Club.

Chery is certified by the USTA as a professional coach and holds a ATP certificate of coaching as well. She is extremely passionate about growing and developing youth tennis in Arizona.
